EDPDA - Echoplex Digital Pro Personal Digital Assistant

|
The Echoplex Digital Pro provides a great deal of power and flexibility with over 310 adjustable parameters. But viewing, adjusting, and managing all those parameters from the Echoplex's small front panel can be frustrating and time-consuming. With EDPDA you can easily view all the parameters and adjust them using a few quick taps on your handheld's touch screen. Do you have more than one Echoplex? EDPDA readily handles multiple Echoplexes making it quick and convenient to transfer configurations and loops between them.
You've spent hours configuring your Echoplex. Now all the presets are customized just as you need them for your performance. What happens if there's a sudden power glitch or hardware problem and you lose those presets?
With one or two taps of the stylus, you can back-up your complete Echoplex configuration to EDPDA. And carrying a pocket-sized PDA to gigs for emergency recovery is certainly lighter weight insurance than toting a laptop. Plus, the next time you sync to your Windows or Macintosh computer, your Echoplex configuration will be saved on your hard drive.
You have 16 local presets named Preset 0-16 and one global preset available on the Echoplex. Using EDPDA you can create and save as many presets as you wish and give them names you choose.
Or say that you've created that killer loop on your Echoplex. With EDPDA you can digitally transfer it to your handheld and save it for later re-use. You can save as many loops as you have available memory on your PDA and, of course, the loops will be backed-up to your hard drive when you next hotsync.
EDPDA even has a Program Change translation feature built-in. It will translate MIDI Program Change messages into the Note On/Off or Continuous Controller commands expected by the Echoplex. Now you can completely control your Echoplex with simple Program Change messages as supported by low-cost MIDI foot-controllers!
Like all Palm Powered™ software, EDPDA is very simple to use. But we still have a full manual available for free download that includes complete instructions.
